Good Day!
Sorry I was absent last week. I felt like a druid had come down from the forest, kicked me in the balls, and went off for some fresh produce. Adding insult to injury was the fact that my internet access at home/work diminished to the West and remained Galadriel thanks to a big dose of anal hump-hump from Comcast. In short, I was detained by testicular kickular and internet shenanigans. Ah, but I did not sit still, no no. I cobbled together stuff for you!
But before I do, let me just say that I have a Nacho Libre bobblehead doll to give away. Shit, I'm just going to give it to the sexiest male or female Chewer who sends me their picture.

THE LORD OF THE WEAK
To say I am disappointed in the latest batch of DVD release for The Lord of the Rings is an understatement. My review of The Fellowship of the Ring is here ( http://chud.com/dvd/7328) and the rest will arrive next week. It's the first time I felt like New Line dropped the ball with these films and it makes me sad in the pants.

ATTACK OF THE NUNZ
Tune in to G4TV's Attack of the Show! on Monday evening as I discuss Snakes on a Plane with Chris Gore and David Waldon, the author of that useless book about the phenomenon. I will be the guy hating on people and places and things. If you get the station, give it a shot as I might be the best thing ever to hit the airwaves. Actually, I've been very mediocre in the past on the show but plan to make up for lost time. Check your local fistings for times.

11 COLONELS ATTACK!

11 Colonels ATTACK! is in the hands of one famous producer/director and at a movie studio who seems genuinely interested in it. That may mean jack shit and it may mean for good things. The last rewrite sealed the deal for me. I think it's ready. Now, it's just a matter of getting the go-ahead. I'm not going to name names, but there might be some actual name performers in this if all goes well. I hear my first choice Vic Morrow is unavailable.
The first season for the 11 Colonels/CHUD softball team is beginning in 2 Wednesdays at North Park in Alpharetta. It could be ugly, but we'll be hitting Taco Mac after to kill the pain. Local Chewers, come and hang out, grab some suds, and I'll bring passes when I have them.

Meg has some tweaking going on right now with the intention to move forward for 2008 release but I've learned to just wait and see how the chips fall. Things look really good right now and the latest batch of studio notes were quite wise.
